Full-Time, Live-Out

Location: Missouri City, 77459

Pets: None though they hope to get a medium-sized, hypoallergenic dog in the future

Start Date: As soon as they meet the perfect fit, flexible

End Date: A minimum of 1 year though ideally 2+ years

Schedule:

• Monday - Friday: 7:00 AM - 3:00 PM or 4:00 PM (flexible for an ideal candidate)

• 11-month-old, M. This bundle of energy and curiosity is eager to explore the world around him. Although he hasn't started walking yet, he is an expert cruiser, always on the move and ready for adventure. He has been introduced to a variety of foods through baby-led weaning, and enjoys helping mom in the kitchen

Both parents are entrepreneurs and enjoy the balance of managing a busy routine while maintaining the freedom and flexibility to be hands-on parents. Their ideal nanny has a collabortive yet proactive spirit. She is comfortable working hand-in-hand with mom to raise an amazing little boy as well as independently. This family maintains open communication and will work to create a great work environment to ensure your satisfaction in the role. They want to expose their child to variety of languages, so, a bilingual nanny is preferred

Their ideal nanny is firm yet kind. She maintains a warm, loving, and empathetic relationship with their child while upholding household rules and setting firm boundaries. This ideal nanny is easygoing, receptive to how they want to raise their son, and is happy to make recommendations to the parents. She is an active problem-solver and consistently presents suggestions that create a smooth household.

They seek a nanny who takes the initiative to remain abreast of their little one's developmental and learning goals. She plans and prepares stimulating activities throughout each day. She engages him in valuable indoor & outdoor playtime, reading, and educational experiences in a zero screen time environment.

Work From Home: Mom and dad may work from home throughout the week. Nanny should feel comfortable collaborating with mom or dad and working independently.

Travel: The family seeks a nanny who can travel with them throughout the year. Domestic travel is typically a maximum of 4 days and international travel is a maximum of 1 week.

Duties will include:

Education and Play Duties

• Ensure the child is deeply loved and well cared for

• Engage the child in creative and interactive play including infant exercise, age-appropriate sensory play, tummy time, and imaginative play as he grows older

• Engage their child in play-based education that sparks creativity and encourages discovery and exploration

• Spend time reading books, listening to music, and encouraging a love of learning with zero screen time

• Encourage independence, emotional regulation, and manners

Household Duties

• Child's laundry

• Wash and sanitize baby bottles

• Track and replenish low-stock items

• Child-related tidying and organization

• Meal preparation for child

• Load and unload the dishwasher

Requirements:

• Meet The STEM Nanny Company's minimum requirement including 3 years of professional childcare experience, a passion for education, and more!

• Provide an exciting, engaging educational environment that ensures their child's continued growth and development

• Maintain open communication and a collaborative relationship with the parents

• Maintain a professional and structured environment

• Teach values of love, kindness, and manners

Pay: $23 - $25/hour, flexible for an ideal fit

• Guaranteed Pay - 40 to 45 hours/week

• Paid Time Off - 2 weeks

• Paid Sick Leave - 1 week

• Paid Holidays
