Location: Rice Military, 77007
Start Date: June 2023, flexible for a perfect fit
End Date: Minimum of 1 year though their ideal nanny will remain with their family for 5+ years
Schedule:
School-Year Schedule: Monday - Friday, 6:00 AM - 2:00 PM
Summer Schedule: Monday - Friday, 7:00 AM - 2:15 PM (open to guaranteeing 40 hours/week if required)
Though not required, they would love to meet a candidate who is open to working 2 - 3 weekends per month
Children: Their toddler attends school Monday - Friday, 8:15 AM - 12:00 PM though will not attend school during the summertime.
Almost 3-year-old, M. This little one is super independent and loves cars, solving puzzles, dancing, and playing. He has also recently mastered tracing and is always eager to learn new things.
Newborn, M. Due date August 2023. The family is so excited to welcome their second little boy.

This friendly, structured family is seeking an experienced nanny and house manager for their toddler and newborn! Dad is an entrepreneur and Mom is a stay-at-home mom who seeks a nanny who is comfortable working independently. Their ideal nanny is confident, knowledgeable, and proactive. She enjoys clear communication and maintains a peer-like relationship with the parents. She is proactive in implementing creative activities, planning fun outings, and fulfilling household tasks.
This position is an ideal fit for a nanny who is playful, creative, nurturing, and proactive. She remains abreast of their little ones' developmental milestones and works to achieve them. She is educationally oriented and implements learning into everyday experiences. She goes the extra mile in teaching the children great morals and values. She works hand in hand to raise children with respect, and manners and to love education.
They hope to meet a nanny who has experience sleep training and potty training!
When their little one(s) are at school or napping, the family seeks household support including children's laundry, meal preparation, opening packages and restocking items, and grocery shopping.

Duties will include the following.
Education Duties
Ensure the children are deeply loved and well cared for
Engage the children in creative and interactive play including infant exercise, age-appropriate sensory play, tummy time, and imaginative play as he grows older
Engage their children in play-based education that sparks creativity and encourages discovery and exploration
House Manager Duties
Replenish low-stock items
Grocery shopping
Opening packages and picking up mail
Household organization as needed
Household Duties
Drive children to and from school and activities
Washing and sanitizing baby bottles
Children's laundry
Prepare bottles and children's meals
Requirements:
Meet The STEM Nanny Company's minimum requirement including 3 years of professional childcare experience, a passion for education, and more!
Confident and proactive provider with excellent communication skills
Maintain a collaborative relationship with the parents with the ability to work independently
Provide an exciting, engaging environment that ensures their children's continued growth and development
Implement creative indoor and outdoor activities that contribute to their children's continued growth and development
Teach values of confidence, kindness, and self-sufficiency.
Pay: $23 - $27/hour, flexible for a perfect fit
Guaranteed Pay - 40 hours/week (more if you are open to working weekends)
Paid Time Off - 2 weeks
Paid Sick Leave - 3 days (flexible for a perfect fit)
