Update our internal databases with new employee information, including contact details, and employment forms
Complete reference checks and devise questions specific to client data
Screen resumes and application forms
Communicate with applicants to obtain necessary hiring information
Perform employment verification to determine titles, dates, and responsibilities
Review and distribute company policies in digital formats or hard copies
Hours and time commitment: The HR intern will have a part-time schedule of 25 hours per week. The preferred workday is from 9:00 AM until 2:00 PM. However, this is flexible throughout the week to accommodate a college class schedule.
Recently completed or In-progress BSc in Human Resources or closely related field
Experience as a Staff Assistant or similar junior HR role is a plus
Experience with MS Office
Ability to handle confidential information with discretion
Comprehensive understanding of full-cycle recruiting
Strong typing skills
Strong attention to detail
