Schedule:
Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, and Friday: 10:00 AM - 6:00 PM
Thursday: 12:00 - 8:00 PM
Full days on school holidays, sick days, and during parts of the summer
Children: The children attend school full-time, so, the morning portion of tasks is dedicated to House Manager tasks.
5-year-old, M. This sweet, clever little one is known as the lover boy and family mascot! He is affectionate, gentle, and eager to keep up with his older siblings! He is easygoing and loves being the main attraction.
7-year-old, M. This kind, sensitive little one is deeply compassionate and responds best to gentle parenting. He loves science, writing and illustrating books, outdoor exploring, and is driven to succeed!
9-year-old, F. This highly independent and athletic one favors soccer, animals, and enjoys spending her time outside in nature. She has mastered reading over the years developing a love for books and storytelling!

This appreciative, active family is seeking their newest member! Their ideal nanny is confident and maintains a peer-like relationship with the parents. She is proactive, thoughtful, and consistently brushing up on new child psychology or development research. They seek a provider who regards each child as an individual. Experience with neurodivergent children is a big plus!
She is energetic, interactive, and engages their children in valuable playtime and educational experiences. Their ideal nanny favors the gentle parenting style and teaches their little ones positive habits ensuring they grow to become respectful, polite, and kind-hearted individuals.
Their ideal Nanny is quick-witted, an effective problem solver, and grows to become a third parent. She is a self-starter who provides holistic assistance with loose reigns and without much direction.
Travel: The family spends up to 8 weeks in Maine during the summer and requires a nanny who can travel for a minimum of 6 weeks (flexible for a perfect fit). The family is happy to split the time frame such as 3 weeks on, 1 week off (paid), and 3 weeks on.
Nanny will have an apartment available to her in Maine.
COVID-19: COVID-19 vaccination is not required.
Duties will include the following. Some duties are negotiable for the right fit!
Education Duties
Engage the child in creative and interactive indoor and outdoor play
Engage their children in play-based education that encourages their individuality, discovery, and exploration
Provide homework assistance
House Manager Duties
Run errands (return items, buy and wrap presents for kids' friends' birthdays, etc)
Research and planning (find classes or lessons related to the children's interests or qualified contractors to complete household tasks)
Grocery shopping
Problem identification and solving
Household Duties
Drive children to and from school and activities (family can provide a vehicle if desired)
Walk family's dog
2 - 3 loads of laundry per week (parents and children)
Light meal preparation. Cooking if Nanny is a knack or passion for doing so
Requirements:
Meet The STEM Nanny Company's minimum requirement including 3 years of professional childcare experience, a passion for education, and more!
Confident and proactive provider with excellent communication skills
Maintain a collaborative relationship with the parents
Provide an exciting, engaging environment that ensures their children's continued growth and development
Implement creative indoor and outdoor activities that contribute to their children's continued growth and development
Teach values of confidence, kindness, and self-sufficiency.
Pay: $25 - $30/hour. Flexible for a perfect fit.
Guaranteed Pay - 40 hours/week
Paid Time Off - 2 to 3 weeks
Paid Sick Leave - 1 week
Paid Holidays - 8
