School-Year Schedule – September to May (22.5 hours/week) - The family will guarantee pay for 35 to 40 hours/week ($51,000 - $72,800/year)

• Monday: 3:00 – 5:30 PM

• Tuesday: 3:00 – 9:00 PM

• Wednesday: 3:00 – 7:30 PM

• Thursday: 3:00 – 5:30 PM

• Friday: 3:00 – 5:30 PM

• Sunday: 12:00 – 5:30 PM (the family will review candidates who cannot facilitate Sundays but give HIGH priority to candidates who can)

Summer Schedule – June - August (39.5 hours/week)

• Monday: 10:00 AM – 5:30 PM

• Tuesday: 1:00 – 9:00 PM

• Wednesday: 1:00 – 7:30 PM

• Thursday: 10:00 AM – 5:30 PM

• Friday: 1:00 – 5:30 PM

Child: Their little one attends school Monday – Friday, 8:00 AM – 3:00 PM

• 5-year-old, F. This easy-going, creative child loves role playing, and building structures. She enjoys playing with dolls, creating imaginary worlds and playing out themes between characters. She would love to go on a nature walk (or run ;) with you to collect rocks and leaves.

Dad is a serial entrepreneur who enjoys creating business systems and playing an array of sports. Mom has an eye for architecture, interior design and is passionate about historical, religious, and cultural studies.

Their ideal nanny is kind, gentle, creative, and intellectually curious. She is proactive in planning hands-on activities and engaging playtime experiences for their daughter. She implements education in fun ways and successfully balances maximizing time with their little one and listening to her preferences and interests.

They seek a candidate who is organized, punctual, and makes trustworthy decisions on the parents’ behalf. She happy to support the household in transporting to afterschool activities, preparing a weekly meal for the family, and ah hoc house manager tasks.

The family often hosts gathering at their home and seeks a candidate who is comfortable navigating an array of economic classes including both wealthy and poor. Their ideal candidate is committed or open to Christianity or Judaism.

Work From Home: Mom and dad may work from home throughout the week. Nanny should feel comfortable collaborating with mom or dad and working independently.

Travel: The family does not require travel though are happy to discuss if their nanny is interested in joining.

Duties will include:

Education and Play Duties

• Ensure their child is safe, loved, and supported

• Engage their child in creative, play-based education that sparks creativity and encourages discovery

• Plan fun, hands-on activities daily

• Co-play with mom and child

• Encourage their child’s individualism and personhood

Household Duties

• Safely transport the child to outings and afterschool activities in a family vehicle

• Prepare 1 meal per week for the family

• Meet handymen, contractors, or deliveries at the home

• Put away groceries

• Light organization

Requirements:

• Meet The STEM Nanny Company's minimum requirement including 3 years of professional childcare experience, a passion for education, and more!

• Provide an exciting, engaging educational environment that ensures their child's continued growth and development

• Maintain open communication and a collaborative relationship with the parents

• Maintain a professional and structured environment

• Teach values of love, kindness, and manners

• Comfort within a Christian or Jewish household

Pay: $28 - $35/hour, flexible for a perfect fit
